Over the course of three hours, you’ll explore different spaces designed to examine coffee from various perspectives. We’ll walk through the cloud forest and the farm, share a table with coffee, fruit, and local pastries, take part in sensory exercises and guided tastings, and finish by brewing coffee together in the Coffee Lab.

We walked through the cloud forest and our coffee farm while exploring the origins of coffee, its history, how it’s grown, and some of the challenges it faces today. We discussed the future of coffee and how research and the development of new varieties aim to preserve this beverage for future generations.
We’ll enjoy coffee, fruit, and local pastries while discovering how origin, variety, processing, and roasting influence the character of each coffee.
Through sensory exercises and guided tastings, we explore how aroma, taste, and memory influence the way we perceive coffee.
We'll wrap up by making coffee while exploring the key variables in the brewing process and how small changes can affect the final result of a cup of coffee.
During the experience, you’ll enjoy coffee, soft drinks, fresh fruit, and local pastries, as well as sensory exercises to explore aromas and flavors, guided tastings, and a hands-on coffee-making activity. At the end, you can visit the Plinc store, where you’ll find the coffees tasted during the experience and our products so you can continue enjoying coffee at home.
All of our experiences are by reservation only and take place in small groups. This creates the time and space to talk, ask questions, share observations, and enjoy every moment at a leisurely pace.
The experience takes place at our coffee farm, surrounded by the Monteverde cloud forest. Each space was designed to be part of the tour, blending nature, conversation, tasting, and preparation into a single experience. During the Immersive Coffee Experience, the farm is reserved exclusively for participants, creating an atmosphere of tranquility, privacy, and connection with the place.
The experience lasts approximately 3 hours. It is offered Tuesday through Sunday and begins at 10:00 a.m., ending at 1:00 p.m. Each session accommodates a maximum of 12 participants and is available in Spanish and English. The price is US$90 per person.
